Lauren Graver, 10 years old, of Mount Prospect, Illinois, surrounded by her family. Lauren is deeply and forever loved by her parents, Amy (nee Sablick) and Dan; her siblings, Connor, Claire and twin Emma; her grandparents Jude and Gene Sablick and Betty and Tom Graver (both deceased); her large extended family, including her many aunts, uncles, cousins; and her many friends.
Lauren was a beloved 4th grade student at Lions Park School in Mount Prospect where she inspired students and staff alike with her ever present smile and determination. Lauren was a cherished patient at Advocate Children’s Oncology Clinic and Hospital in Park Ridge.
Lauren’s family will be eternally grateful to her nurses, doctors and caretakers for the exceptional and loving care given her. Lauren was an inspiration to the community of Mount Prospect and beyond with the strength, bravery and grace she displayed during her illness.
Lauren brought out the best in people. Please join us to celebrate Lauren’s life. Wear what you feel best in, but know that Lauren would love if her supporters wear the attire of her beloved Chicago Blackhawks, as she will be.
Visitation Thursday, December 28th, 3:00 P.M. – 9:00 P.M. at St. Raymond de Penafort Church, Elmhurst Rd. (Rt. 83) at Lincoln St, Mt. Prospect.
Visitation Friday, December 29th, 9:30 A.M. until Funeral Mass 10:30 A.M. at the church.
Interment will be private.
